Cookie policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on the user's device when visited. They allow information about the visit, such as preferred language or display settings, to be remembered. Some are essential for the site to work; others are used for analytics, advertising or personalization.
2. Cookies used on this site
This site does not use third-party tracking cookies. In particular, we do not use Google Analytics, Hotjar or equivalent measurement or advertising services.
We use only technical browser storage (localStorage) to save two user preferences: theme (light or dark) and selected language. This technical storage is exempt from the prior consent requirement under Spanish and European ePrivacy law.
For this reason, the site does not show a cookie banner.
3. Third-party cookies
The contact form is sent to Formspree, an external service (Statamic LLC, USA). When you interact with that service to submit the form, Formspree may set its own cookies in your browser. You can read its specific policy at formspree.io/legal.
4. How to manage cookies in your browser
You can configure your browser to accept, reject or delete cookies at any time. Each browser has its own instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and Brave all include privacy and security sections in their settings to manage these preferences.
5. Aymar Agents platform cookies (app.aymaragents.com)
When you access the Aymar Agents platform as a customer, a customer's staff member, or Aymar's own team (Platform and Admin dashboards), the following cookies are used, all of them technical and necessary for the service to work. None of them is used for advertising or profiling purposes, so they do not require a consent banner either.
- Session (authentication) cookie: identifies your logged-in session; httpOnly (not accessible from JavaScript) to make it harder to steal.
- CSRF protection cookie: a single-use token to prevent cross-site request forgery; not httpOnly because the dashboard itself needs to read it.
- Theme preference cookie (`aymar_theme`): remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode; not httpOnly.
- Language preference cookie (`NEXT_LOCALE`): remembers the interface language you chose; not httpOnly.
- Temporary support-access cookie (internal, exceptional use): when Aymar's team needs to access your account to provide support, a short-lived httpOnly cookie is created, logged in your account's audit trail.
None of these cookies is shared with advertisers or used to build advertising profiles.
