A plan isn’t edited “in place” once created: to change its price, features, limits or allowances, you create a new version. This prevents a price change from silently affecting subscribers who are already on a previous version.
Requirements: Owner role — same permission as creating a plan (previous section).
- On the plan’s row, tap New version.
- The form opens preloaded with every value from the previous version — name, description, price, feature codes, limits and allowances — except the Slug, which shows locked (“Inherited from the previous version, not editable”): every version of a plan shares the same slug.
- Change whatever you need — for example, the Monthly price.
- Tap Create version.
Result: the Plans table shows both versions as independent rows of the same plan (same name and slug, different Version — v1, v2…), both active at once until you archive one of them: the old version keeps existing for whoever already had it, while the new one becomes available for new sign-ups.
