The 3 statuses of a referral

On Referrals, inside your partner console (side menu), each row in the table shows a Status column with a colored badge — the way to know, without doing any math, whether that customer is still generating commission for you. The three possible values, and what each one means for your pocket:

StatusWhen it showsStill generating commission?
ActiveThe customer hasn’t churned AND either hasn’t paid their first invoice yet (their window hasn’t even started counting — section 3), or is still within their months window (or it’s indefinite).Yes — every new invoice they pay generates a new commission.
Window endedThe customer is still signed up and paying, but this referral’s frozen months have run out, counted from their first payment (section 3).No — that customer can go on being a Platform customer for life, but THIS referral no longer generates you a single euro.
Customer churnedThe customer cancelled their subscription — regardless of whether their window was still open or not.No. This status always wins over “Window ended”: a churned customer whose window had already run out shows “Customer churned”, never both.

Note — What’s already accrued doesn’t disappear

A referral moving to “Window ended” or “Customer churned” doesn’t affect the commissions that were ALREADY generated while it was active — they keep going through their normal life cycle until they settle. The status change only cuts off the generation of NEW commissions from that point on.

Next to Status, the Referrals table shows the customer’s name, the date they signed up, the frozen % for that specific referral, how long their window lasts — a dash if it’s indefinite, or “Starts with their first payment” if that customer hasn’t paid any invoice yet (section 3) — and the Accrued / Settled amounts — each in that specific customer’s real contract currency (section 5 explains why it might not match yours). Above the table, three cards summarize your totals — one batch of cards per currency you have real commissions in, never added together across different currencies.
